.Kred is a Top-Level Domain (similar to .COM) which allows Kred users to create their own custom domains, like John.Kred or MyCompany.Kred.
.Kred Domains help users establish their Online Identity by:
- Linking to their personal website or Kred Profile, showing all their online content, gather your social feeds into one place and allowing them to connect with other Influencers.
- Linking to digital wallets - Send and receive currency and digital assets using your .Kred domain instead of a complex wallet address.
Registering a .Kred Domain provides you with a Kred Domain Token:
A .Kred Domain Token grants control of its associated .Kred Domain, allowing the holder to edit the associated website and/or digital wallets.

Payments, Renewals and Transfers
Yes.
If purchasing a .Kred Domain on Domains.Kred, simply choose your preferred currency at the checkout.
If purchasing on OpenSea you will be invited to pay using ETH or WETH.
You can renew and extend the expiry date of any existing .Kred Domain by paying the required fee at any time, either:
- On Domains.Kred
- Via your Kred Profile
- Via ENS.Domains????
You can renew your name at any time during the period for which you have paid registration.
Once your Domain Token registration expires, Kred may offer a discretionary 60 day Renewal Grace Period in which you can regain access to your name.
During this period:
- The Domain Token image will show Expired to avoid misrepresentation if the name is sold during this period.
- The Domain Token holder cannot manage the ENS settings of the domain.
- The ENS wallet address (if any) is cleared to prevent accidental transfers to a name which was intentionally left to expire.
- DNS records are updated to point to holding page showing that the domain associated with the Domain Token has expired, with a link for the owner to renew.
Following the Renewal Grace Period, your domain will be deleted and will be available for registration by someone else.
Making sure you renew before your domain expires will prevent someone else from registering it and taking control.

- Visit OpenSea and select Account > My Items
- Select your Kred Domain Token on your account page

Kred differentiates itself from other ICANN approved Registry Operators (like .Art and .Luxe) by being a "closed TLD". This status allows the .Kred Registry to grant customers access to their domain on both ENS and DNS using a Kred Domain Token (and without any complicated reconciliation or verification).
